UPMC Home Health is hiring a Sr. Manager of Clinical Operations!

This is a Full-Time position working mainly Monday-Friday, Daylight hours. The office is located in West Mifflin.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage department operations within budget.
  • Perform duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of UPMC towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet budgeted productivity and monitor staff productivity.
  • Oversee administrative on call coverage for the agency.
  • Attend compliance training and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.
  • Focus on customer service and continually strive to perform the duties of job in a manner that results in optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Identify, develop and participate in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of services we provide.
  • Overall responsibility for the clinical operations of multidisciplinary home health care teams to facilitate patient care integration and coordination according to Conditions of Participation, JCAHO standards and the policies and procedures of the home health agency.
  • Provide overall integration and direction to Clinical Supervisors.

 

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited school of professional nursing OR graduate from an accredited physical therapy curriculum program OR graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy curriculum program OR Master's degree Speech Language Pathology required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree in related field preferred.
  • 5 years healthcare experience required.
  • 3 years home health experience preferred.
  • 3 years management experience required.
  • Proven ability to facilitate change.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Occupational Therapist (OT) OR Physical Therapist (PT) OR Registered Nurse (RN) OR Speech Pathologist
