UPMC Jameson is looking for a Full Time Quality Analyst to join their Risk Management team! The Quality Analyst will primarily work Monday- Friday day light hours. The candidate chosen for this role will also be required to travel to UPMC Horizon as needed for any meetings to help support the department. 

Designs, implements and maintains effective processes to ensure the provision of quality care which fulfill the expectations and needs of the hospital.


  • Provide tracking and trending data
  • Provide information for credentialing
  • Prepare data to assist departmental chairpersons in continuously monitoring, analyzing and improving performance of clinical outcomes and other processes.
  • Utilize specialized software programs and report writers.
  • Provide data essential to peer review activities
  • Attend meetings as necessary for presentation of data
  • Provide committees with an overview of their activities.
  • Provide other departments with necessary data to establish a baseline for Performance Improvement
  • Maintain peer review files for tending purposes and for re-appointment.
  • Provide director with reports and graphs for Quality Improvement activities.
  • Utilize software to support Quality Improvement statistical tool for CQI flow charts, control charts, and building/supporting access databases.
  • Provide data by creating reports that ensure the department design processes well and can systematically monitor, analyze and improve its performance to improve patient outcomes.
  • Collect and report statistical information for physicians
  • Assist with the transformation of data into information for various hospital committees.
  • Create reports and distribute them to the appropriate personnel throughout the organization utilizing Access and Excel, as well as other programs and applications.



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate's Degree or 2 years of Medical terminology experience required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of database applications required.
