Description

UPMC is looking to hire an IT Systems Analyst Intern to develop a patient matching improvement plan to support the CCHIE Data Quality Program. This program will allow the opportunity to understand/learn business and data quality from a healthcare perspective, work within a team of highly knowledgeable staff, and contribute to a program that will set the standard for future patient matching tasks utilized within UPMC for years to come.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform operational daily maintenance activities
  • Identify operational data quality process improvements
  • Conduct industry research for best practices
  • Define and develop data quality measurements
  • Conduct formal presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a High School Diploma and actively be working toward a higher degree preferred
  • Technical experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams
