UPMC Home Health is hiring a Team Assistant to join its Compliance team!

This is a Full-Time position working mainly Monday-Friday, Daylight hours. The office is located in Seven Fields, PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the retrieval, coordination, final review and submission to the appropriate sources of SCIO audit requests and other payor requests.
  • Initiates and facilitates the process of reconsideration for potential reversal of denial payment determinations related to SCIO and other payor requests.
  • Actively participates in HHABN and NOMNC reviews.
  • Reviews medical records and assists in the process for Requests of Information.
  • Responsible for actively working Compliance monthly reports, analyzing, and identifying trends to report to Compliance leadership.
  • Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff,peers,physicians, and other departments within the organization.
  • Identifies, develops, and participates in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of the services UPMC HomeHealthcareprovides.
  • Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to facilitate change.
  • Attends compliance training and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies, and procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Competency with PC Preferred
  • One (1) year related work experience Preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
