UPMC's Workpartners Group has a very exciting opportunity for a full-time Human Capital Consultant!

This role delivers high-quality solutions to both external and internal customers. Updates key leadership and business unit partners on consultative findings on a regular basis. Coordinates with other business functions to identify potential opportunities to facilitate client improvement and success, while maximizing the reach of Workpartners services with those clients. Pursue new business relationships through a consultative sales approach.

For this role, we are seeking someone with strong relationship management skills and the ability to present complex and technical information to a non-technical audience.

This position is commission eligible. This is a REMOTE position; candidates should be able to work from home within the continental US

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Senior Consulting staff, leverage the convergence of Analytic and Reporting Services to meet strategic information needs for Workpartners clients.
  •  Partner with business function, sales, and account management teams to provide strategic direction for key accounts.
  •  Position Workpartners for continued success with current clients through the illumination of our value proposition and the identification of opportunities for account expansion.
  •  Assist in managing client messaging across multiple product lines and account managers.
  •  Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) with expert knowledge regarding Workpartners suite of products and services, how they fit together, and their applicability to solving Human Capital problems.
  •  Advise employers on leave policies and processes, including workers? compensation, short-term disability, and FMLA.
  •  Advise employers on population health strategies for their employees, including investments in health and wellness and a particular focus on the 5% high-risk population.
  •  Provide direct sales support for Workpartners service offerings.
  • Participate in market education opportunities to propagate company intellectual capital and position company service products in the market.
  •  Participate in market intelligence gathering.
  •  Provide leadership and advocacy within the organization on behalf of the client.
  •  Participate in the development of staff education and orientation. Share expert intelligence, and Human Capital information with colleagues.

 

Qualifications

  • Subject matter expertise in one of Workpartners consulting services focus areas:
    • human capital data analytics, health plan design and administration, integrated absence management, employee health & wellness, or employee & workplace safety.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or economics.
  • Graduate degree is a plus.
  •  Prior experience managing all aspects of client relationships including account strategy, retention, and revenue growth is preferred.. 3+ years preferred.
  •  Prior experience in management consulting, health benefits, or human capital management industry sectors... 3+ years preferred.
  • Significant experience with data-driven and metric-driven management of employee human capital, benefits, or safety topics.
  • Market education experience.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytic, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
