Description

The training position will oversee all training activities for the WorkPartners Absence Management team.  This position will be responsible for identifying a need, developing content, facilitating training, and critiquing the quality of training initiatives across all lines of business in the workgroup.  They must work closely with business leaders to review current materials, understand business priorities and ensure curriculum is available and appropriate for all new and existing employees across our teams. 

This individual must be passionate about improving performance through education and training.  Our ideal candidate understands the Absence Management business and is experienced in curriculum development and training facilitation.

This position is in the US Steel building and offers work-from-home flexibility as needed. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs on WorkPartners Absence Management products.  These programs should be targeted to the specific program or line of business within each department. 
  • Provide training services for all WorkPartners support groups to include Health Plan employee teams and after-hours vendor centers.
  • Partner with implementation team to prepare training materials in preparation for new client launches.  
  • Develop and implement methods to assess current and future staff training requirements.
  • Partner with supervisors to assess team needs for new hire and embedded base training curriculum.  Create structured training plan for all new and existing employees.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the training process, including materials development, program delivery, and assessment. 
  • Complete special projects and performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Three (3) years training experience required
  •  Absence management experience required (one year preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and independent decision-making abilities a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential
