Description

We are searching for a Human Resources Project Coordinator to join our UPMC Corporate Human Resources Team!  This is a regular, full-time position that primarily works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with some remote work flexibility.

The HR Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating employee engagement programs, running reports, preparing executive ready presentations, and other project related tasks.  The ideal candidate a strong human resources or project coordination background.  They are energetic, organized, and familiar with Microsoft Office programs.  If this sounds like a fit for you, apply online today!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first level support for department programs and initiatives. Communicate problems or complex requests to the management team.
  • Assist in documentation of processes, standards, procedures, and policies for programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain an understanding of UPMC Human Resources programs, policies and procedures to support programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in design, development, and implementation of programs and initiatives.
  • Assist with department administrative support for all events and activities.
  • Develop and maintain documents and materials to support effective roll out of programs and initiatives.
  • Develops and maintains Excel Spreadsheets and creates and develops executive ready PowerPoint presentations as needed by department
  • General involvement with all Human Resources aspects of the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field and two years of experience in project planning and/or administrative function required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience in project planning and/or administrative functions required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent client service skills and proven ability to deal effectively with employees.
  • Ability to coordinate projects, manage tasks, establish priorities, make decisions, and follow issues through to resolution as directed.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to function in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
  • Dependability and professionalism.
