The UPMC Learning and Development team is looking for a Learning Associate to join the team. This is a regular, full-time position that primarily works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, at the US Steel Tower.  A perk of this position includes some remote work flexibility!

The Learning Associate will support Learning & Development initiatives by preparing materials, coordinating courses, sending feedback surveys, and maintaining data within the learning management system. This role will be integral part of the staff development team. This is a great chance to join a collaborative team that interacts with many departments across UPMC.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administrative functions for all L&D programs including, but not limited to: scheduling rooms/facilities/speakers; coordinating, supporting and facilitating virtual learning; ordering catering; sending reminders to participants and speakers; set up of training/conference rooms; inventorying and ordering supplies, printed materials, giveaways, etc.
  • Review, suggest and/or complete modifications or updates to training communication and materials.
  • Assist in the facilitation of programs when necessary
  • Participate in various L&D programs by troubleshooting issues, greeting participants and providing customer service.
  • Monitor and respond to customer requests in service email accounts.
  • Support special projects as identified and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in the planning, logistics, administration, design and facilitation of support tasks for all L&D programs. Document team processes, standards, procedures and policies.
  • Serve as a point person for all UPMC Beginnings programs, including UPMC Beginnings Virtual and UPMC Beginnings On Demand
  • Work closely with Training Specialist to assist in Integrations

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of administrative or relevant experience.
  • Completion of the UPMC Summer Associates' program preferred.
  • Must be highly organized, creative, and timely.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in the organization.
  • Must be able to work regular business hours with scheduling flexibility.
  • Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft products and PeopleSoft, or other HRIS systems preferred.
