We are looking for an individual with a passion for networking and creating a great candidate experience to join our UPMC Corporate Services team as a Campus Recruiter!

The Campus Recruiter will be the main point of contact for all university relations, information sessions, recruitment events, and selection of top student or recent graduate talent for the UPMC Corporate Services campus programs.  Additionally, this role will focus on bringing strategies to leaders of our UPMC Corporate Services team to remain current and competitive with other organizations, includes action to ensure we continue to support our commitment to achieve a culturally diverse workforce.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary employment consultant for designated departments. 
  • Realistically describe to applicants the responsibilities of any appropriate position
  • Choose the most qualified candidates to refer to departments based upon documented objective criteria consistent with the legal requirements, job description, qualifications, and business unit policies in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate job posting system. Confirm job requirements on recruitment request form with those on the approved job description to assure correct requirements are posted.
  • Comply, analyze and prepare reports on the computer and works on special projects as requested.
  • Conduct employment screening interviews for internal and external applicants, of all levels and types of positions, including management.
  • Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information received within the guidelines of professional recruitment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least one year of recruitment experience required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of recruitment experience required.
  • PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with recruitment related software and database mining required.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Campus recruitment experience preferred.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification preferred.
