Description

Purpose:
Assist the Director, Absence Management in providing direction and leadership to the various non-occupational programs of WorkPartners. Excellent ability to manage internal and external services. Knowledge and ability to communicate industry best practices' and keep clients up to date on changes in the administrative processes, case law or legal climate.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate disability management policies/protocols/procedures in compliance with appropriate regulations for UPMC WorkPartners and its clients.
  • Coordinate with management on staffing between clients and rehabilitation professionals as well as WorkPartners.
  • Establish and maintain client contacts.
  • Possess a global understanding of the following trends and industries: Integrated Disability Management, Total Absence Management, and Health Related Productivity.
  • Responsible for the development of the initial implementation plan for onboarding clients, coordination of training and building the initial account management relationship.
  • Provide account management for all UPMC internal and external clients.
  • Identify areas of concern that may compromise client satisfaction through data analysis, and propose solutions based on findings, expertise, and research.
  • Administers company personnel policies with management.
  • Advance WorkPartners' product lines by participating in comprehensive responses to Request for Proposals and other pursuits of extraneous business.
  • Oversees all implementation projects and ensures customer satisfaction with the process.
  • Investigate and resolve client concerns and escalated concerns throughout the client relationship to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Enhance client relationships through award winning service, follow-up and successful project completion.
  • Participate on professional committees and task forces as assigned.
  • Provide leadership and direction, support professional growth by providing training opportunities and appropriate resources.
  • Openly participate in team meetings, provide ideas and suggestions to ensure client satisfaction, and promote teamwork.

 

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree required.
  • 5 years of supervision/management experience required.
  • 7 years of Human Resources, Disability Claims management or related experience required.
  • Good negotiating and interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Computer skills/literacy a must.
  • Some level of travel required for this role.
