Job Description/Summary/Objectives:

 

University of Pittsburgh Physicians located at U. S. Steel Tower, 57th Floor, 600 Grant Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, seeks a Neurologist (IONM Monitoring-Faculty) to provide oversight and interpretation of intra-operative neuro monitoring, as well as preoperative studies and other indicated neuro physiologic monitoring as requested, and responsible for notification of the attending changes/abnormalities in neuromonitoring findings.

 

Job Responsibilities:  

 

- Provide oversight and interpretation of intra-operative neuro monitoring, as well as preoperative studies and other indicated neuro physiologic monitoring as requested

- Responsible for notification of the attending changes/abnormalities in neuromonitoring findings.

- Travel to worksites within 15 miles

Qualifications

-        Requires a Medical Degree or its equivalent

-        Applicant must have completed a residency in Neurology

-        Applicant must be board certified in Neurology

-        Applicant must have a valid Pennsylvania medical license.
