Description

UPMC Health Plan is hiring a full-time Campaign Strategist to support the Marketing Communications Department for its downtown Pittsburgh location at the US Steel Tower. This is a Monday through Friday daylight position. This is a hybrid role, with some remote/work-from-home privileges.

The Campaign Strategist is responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns that support clinical and business goals, enhance member experience and satisfaction, and build brand recognition. The Campaign Strategist will collaborate with colleagues within marketing & communications, health management, clinical affairs, product management , and other lines of business to oversee campaigns that meet goals and objectives. This role will develop campaign-level strategies and tactical execution plans that welcome, educate and engage members. The Campaign Strategist will manage campaigns focused on member onboarding experience, digital tools and technologies, access to health care, wellness, and more. The primary responsibilities of this Campaign Strategist will be focused on developing, executing, and monitoring campaign planning, implementation, and evaluation processes. The Campaign Strategist will engage with creative services and other channel managers for distribution.


Responsibilities:

  • Unify marketing strategy and business plans into cohesive campaign plans that internal marketing and/or external creative resources can execute against.
  • Identify and detail appropriate marketing channels/tactics to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Create and execute strategic tactical campaign plans that support education, member engagement and retention, and support revenue and business goals.
  • Deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Continually monitor and analyze campaigns through marketing processes and systems to maximize effectiveness and ROI, as well as make recommendations on changes needed.
  • Ensure coordination and clear communication, specifically on deadlines, among constituents and stakeholders throughout the course of the campaign.
  • Collaborate with third-party affiliates on the development and delivery of marketing collateral & digital communications that welcome, educate, inform, and engage members.
  • Develop relationships and trust with internal department collaborators and internal “client” partners.
  • Routinely attend and/or lead client status meetings, keep stakeholders informed and perform weekly and monthly duties as assigned.
  • Take complex clinical, or similar, information, transfer knowledge to peers and lead efforts to create communications that are easily understood by the general public.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of marketing, marketing communications or public relations experience, preferable within an agency setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare market.
  • Digital marketing experience preferred.
  • Results-oriented: demonstrated success in overcoming obstacles and launching campaigns on time and on budget.
  • Proven experience and demonstrable results in execution and measuring marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to build consensus among various internal and works well as team member.
  • Self-starter able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Online/social marketing knowledge.
