Our UPMC Hamot Human Resources Team has an exciting new opportunity as a Human Resources Project Analyst!  This position is based at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA but also works closely with our Northern Hospital Pod that includes UPMC Kane, UPMC Chautauqua and UPMC Northwest Hospital.

The Human Resources Project Analyst is a regular, full-time position that primarily works daylight hours, Monday through Friday.  A perk of this position includes flexible work arrangements!

In this role, the HR Project Analyst will focus on recruitment efforts and relationship building with schools and organizations within our community.  These duties include managing full cycle recruitment efforts along with planning recruitment events and career fairs.

  • Develop detailed project plans and executes all project initiatives within the timeline defined for each project effort.
  • Act as a partner with Campus Programs Lead in the development and execution of all campus programs related activities.
  • Collaborate with internal Human Resources team members on all project initiatives taking into account the needs of each areas customer groups and adjusting approach as needed to accommodate.
  • Remain current on Recruitment and Human Resources best practices through training and benchmarking activities.



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and two years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a heavy emphasis on Human Resources operations, performance and talent management programs required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a heavy emphasis on Human Resources operations, performance and talent management programs required.
  • Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications with significant Excel and Power Point experience is required; experience with Microsoft SharePoint preferred.
  • Prior recruitment experience is preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) preferred.
