Resident Manager SL

Description

Purpose:
Manage all aspects of the operation of the facility, coordinating all programs and work between the various departments.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage all aspects of the operation of the facility, coordinating all programs and work between the various departments.
  • Coordinate sustained marketing effort with the Director of Marketing.
  • Control and monitor all aspects of financial management to insure that compliance with facility budgets is met.
  • Meet with all facility Directors and Managers to handle all personnel and staffing issues.
  • Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repairs of the building, the building systems, the grounds including all service contracts for the building systems, landscaping and snow removal in conjunction with the Building Maintenance Services Director of Operations and the Director of Purchasing.
  • Coordinate relationships between the facility, regulatory agencies and local emergency service agencies i.e. fire and police departments.
  • Coordinate and monitor the food service and activities programs with appropriate Director to insure resident satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate scheduling of resident transportation needs.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled resident meetings to again maintain a meaning relationship with the residents and to serve their needs. Keep minutes of these meetings for review by the corporate staff.
  • Maintain meaningful relationship with the residents to insure that their needs are served, giving proper guidance to the concierge to assist in that process.
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of the human resources program with the Director of Human Resources including hiring/firing, payroll, salary administration, unemployment, workers compensation etc.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communications with all levels of management and staff in order to promote team building and more efficient operations.
  • Manage the marketing and rental issues to achieve the highest possible occupancy level, making sure that all rental inquiries, follow-ups, tours, forms and reports are in accordance with the marketing and rental guidelines.
  • Develop an active follow-up program on direct inquires including constant communication with prospects.
  • Monitor all aspects of the business office issues including the account receivable and payable functions insuring that invoices are processed according to guidelines and schedules established by the Corporate Accounting Department.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
