Food Service Host (Full-Time) Seneca Manor

Description

Are you interested in a position that invests in the seniors in your community? Our team at Seneca Manor is looking for a Food Service Host with excellent customer service skills and an enjoyment in elevating the quality of senior care. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction with food service utilizing customer service skills.  You will deliver and serve nutritionally appropriate and attractive meals in a timely manner and practice appropriate food handling techniques and food safety procedures in all aspects of job.

Seneca Manor, located near Penn Hills in Verona, PA, is a senior living facility with residences for independent retirement living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. Join our team to help enrich the lives of our residents by providing fresh, restaurant-style meals today!



Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers.
  • Adheres to department procedures regarding the operation of all food service equipment.
  • Communicates customer complaints and concerns effectively with other health care team members.
  • Performs sanitation for assigned work area in accordance with departmental procedures and health department guidelines.
  • Serves patient meal tray using the designated department script, to include proper patient identification.
  • Distributes and collects menus from patients; obtains selected menus from patients according to departmental procedures.
  • Displays customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, resulting in a satisfied customer.
  • Serves meals within established timeframes, adhering to departmental standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control.

 

Qualifications

  • Work permit required if under 18 years old.
  • Serving experience preferred 


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34
  • OAPSA
