Description

Supports the UPMC strategic plan and outreach/growth strategies. Utilizes targeted outreach, grassroots marketing, and participation in community organizations to increase community awareness. Supports/creates business opportunities and partnerships of UPMC North Central PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Networks, builds, and cultivates relations with key strategic sponsorship partners to better connect with our communities.
  • Assume responsibility for personal development and education.
  • Represents UPMC Susquehanna with schools, colleges, and technical institutes to promote the healthcare industry.
  • Flexes into the Employer Relations, Physician Liaison, and Marketing roles when workload requires it.
  • Submits weekly visit reports.
  • Participates in strategic planning process, offering input on the grassroots marketing strategy.
  • Meets with local Chambers of Commerce to keep abreast on new businesses coming to the area, businesses expanding, or having healthcare/economic concerns.
  • Plans and coordinates community events strategically throughout our market.
  • Provides project management for development of content, services, and outreach associated with our communities.
  • Know and follow all organizational/departmental policies/procedures.
  • Develops and implements grassroots marketing plan by listing to what our prospective patients want, integrating multiple tactics at once to communicate with our patients and remaining flexible and creative by acting quickly on opportunities to connect.
  • Analyzes market share and net revenue per geography to understand current business strengths and service line growth opportunities.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Required.
  • Three years of community outreach, health education, marketing, or sales required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
