Description

We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our Nursing Talent Strategies Team!  This is a regular, full-time position that works flexible daylight hours, Monday through Friday.  A perk of this position includes some remote work flexibility!

In this role, the Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for administering a variety of operational, recruitment and employment related tasks in support of talent acquisition services and operations.  Main job duties include coordinating recruitment events, managing the University Relations service account, reporting efforts, interacting with external talent, and much more.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building a culture rooted in Dignity and Respect and for holding team members accountable to the same.
  • Assist in the execution of Talent Acquisition events.
  • Ensure process compliance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assist recruitment team with parts of the recruitment process including but not limited to sourcing candidates, running reports, auditing positions, and social media advertising.
  • Serve as point of contact for general candidate, employee, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage invoicing and expenses as appropriate.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with one year of progressively responsible administrative experience required (preferably in a human resources environment).
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required
    • OR successful completion of the UPMC Summer Associate Program/Pittsburgh Fellows Program required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel preferred.


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
