Lexington Clubhouse is a psychiatric rehabilitation program that follows the Clubhouse model to assist individuals (we call them members) by building skills and supports. Members spend each day working side by side with staff to run the daily operations of the Clubhouse. While doing so staff support them to reach their own individual goals and build relationships and friendships. The Clubhouse is a unique model that you have to see for yourself!

The schedule for this position is M-F 8a-4p with possible evenings until 6p and some Saturdays. The ideal candidate should have excellent computer skills and should be comfortable with Microsoft Office platforms. 



  • Maintain records and submit reports as required by Clubhouse standards and supervisor.
  • Demonstrate support of Agency mission and philosophy in delivery of services.
  • Engage in coordination of care within the behavioral health system and the community.
  • Establish rapport and positive working relationship with Clubhouse members.
  • Orient members to the Clubhouse operations, structure, extended hours program, and expectations for staff and members.
  • Work as part of a team moving the Clubhouse toward meeting international Clubhouse standards.
  • Maintain daily progress notes, complete functional assessment tools, development of treatment goals/service plans, complete monthly notes and required updates of treatment objectives and other necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Promote and encourage the Clubhouse philosophy and culture with members and staff.
  • Train members through job coaching techniques/ job development, and provide on the job coverage in the absence of the member.
  • Endeavor to achieve and maintain quality and customer satisfaction in the delivery of services to internal/external customers.
  • Participate in Agency committees as requested.
  • Support members in making life decisions regarding job opportunities, housing, education, relationships and other areas to achieve optimum quality of life and independence.
  • Help members achieve confidence and self-esteem using the medium of work.
  • Promote wellness to members through role modeling within a recovery model.
  • Maintain and protect member and Home Nursing Agency confidentially.
  • Serve as lead worker in established work units, and provide leadership during unit meetings as needed.
  • Engage members in the day to day operations of the Clubhouse using the work ordered day to promote prevocational and social skill development.
  • Provide individual and group supervision to PRS staff in the absence of PRS Director.
  • Promote personal, member, and co-worker safety during all clubhouse functions.



  • Bachelor's degree in human services field required or CPRP.
  • Plus a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience in direct mental health, which must include CPRP attained within 2 years from the date of hire.
  • 2 years of work experience in psychiatric rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrate ability to work successfully in the human services field.
  • Access to transportation in the Agency service area with valid Pennsylvania driver's license and auto liability insurance.
  • Must attend two or three-week Clubhouse training at one of the certified Clubhouse training centers.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • OAPSA with renewal
