Description

Purpose:
UPMC is hiring limited part-time student worker for the Oakland offices.  Working with student team and MA team to ensure safety standards and guidelines are met for our patients as it pertains to our scope inventory and medical instruments. This entry level position provides basic data entry and/or clerical support. 

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will interact with other employees and aid with routine tasks
  • Perform routine tasks under the guidance of the department manager/supervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a High School program, equivalent, or higher, required. The candidate will have a working knowledge of the Microsoft system. Related experience to the program/study/research is preferred. Candidate should have an interest in field of study.
  • Biology or science related student enrolled in bachelor's degree program preferred.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment under direct supervision. The candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. The candidate must be able to perform routine tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
