COVID-19 Vaccination Information

Across UPMC, our guiding principle is to always prioritize the safety of our employees, patients, and members. UPMC believes that vaccination is important, helps protect all, and advocates that everyone who can be vaccinated should be vaccinated.

UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

International Associate Strategy Analyst


Assist with all phases of project execution and oversight for UPMC International projects. Work with resources from across all of UPMC's business divisions to leverage UPMC's experience and expertise in developing a health system, a cancer center, health services, insurance services, commercial services and products and international services. This position provides: (1) research (e.g., competitive intelligence and market research), (2) analysis (e.g. market share modeling, patient volume projections, financial analysis) (3) reporting (e.g. synthesize findings and provide strategic recommendations) to support a portfolio of projects. This position entails visibility and exposure to senior leadership.



  • Contribute to project teams throughout the phases of business development, project planning, delivery, and management, with supervision from a director, manager, or consultant. Work with subject matter experts to help draft project proposals


Bachelor's level degree with preference given to pre-medicine, healthcare management, business strategy, or analytical-focused majors, such as economics, statistics, information sciences, or mathematics.

Up to 1 year of prior work experience is highly preferred.

Work experience in health care operations or administration is a preferred.

Experience in Microsoft Excel is highly preferred.

Strong writing and communication skills are required; experience in operations or consulting is highly preferred; familiarity with health analytics and data sources preferred.

Work will often entail working across time zones, so flexible work hours are required. International travel may be required.
