Description
Responsibilities:
This position requires 10 days on, 4 days off overnight from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Maintain/prepare job site/shop.
- Clean, paint, and maintain mechanical and plant rooms/centers.
- Minor preventive maintenance of chillers, boilers and cooling towers.
- Filter changes in air handlers, terminal devices and fan coils.
- Clean coils and equipment.
- Exhibit a basic knowledge of electricity, carpentry/hardware repairs, and mechanical equipment and systems.
- Assist with and maintain general cleaning duties on equipment and in mechanical support areas.
- Perform specific preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
- Perform all work following infection control procedures.
- Record personal work orders and submit hours to supervisor on a daily basis.
- Maintain clean and safe work area, equipment rooms and shop areas.
- Perform any maintenance work required in which skills can be utilized.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Assist in snow removal.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year general maintenance-related work experience OR completion of a trade school required. Military experience considered.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Clearances must be dated within 90 days
- Driver's License
- Automotive Insurance
- Driver's License
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
