Description
The Data Coordinator gather, enter, and ensure the accuracy of data. Work closely with internal and external customers to ensure data is accurate and in compliance with regulatory standards
Responsibilities:
- Serve as department resource for regulatory information.
- Assemble and verify data from a variety of sources for input into the database.
- Document procedures for department.
- Attend and participate in various in-service training, external training workshops, conferences and other relevant programs for professional growth and development.
- Set up and maintain various department manual and computerized filing systems, particularly confidential files, in accordance with department procedures or record keeping requirements. Enter, update, and retrieve information stored in files and databases; customize special reports.
- Update database with any changes to existing information.
- Provide support for special projects and assignments. Research, analyze, and summarize information and source materials for reports. Prepare data on projects and studies, such as updating procedure manuals or analyzing department activities and performing Quality Control checks on database/patient information.
- Protect the integrity and confidentiality of all data and information through quality control processes, as well as physical and electronic measures. Assure quality of information through business case and application level testing; validates test results to initial business needs.
- Accurately enter data from a variety of sources into the database.
- Ensure confirmation and audit reports are submitted on time. Assembles and verifies data from a variety of sources for input into the database.
- Run weekly and monthly QC reports to check data accuracy.
- Coordinate service related information into the database and ensure that current documentation is accurate and on file at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Health related field, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Computer knowledge required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
