Job Description/Summary/Objectives: University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks a Urologist to perform Attending duties in a large, integrated, multi-hospital clinical urology practice; provide comprehensive, inpatient, outpatient and surgical care to patients with diseases and injury of the genitourinary tract, bladder, urethra, ureters, kidney, and adrenal glands, and related organ systems; examine patients using equipment, such as radiograph (x-ray) machines or fluoroscopes, and perform abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries to determine the nature and extent of a disorder or condition; order and interpret the results of diagnostic tests, including prostate specific antigen (PSA) screening, to diagnose and detect prostate cancer; counsel and assist patients by prescribing appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatment modalities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications and Licensure/Certification

  • Must have a Medical degree or equivalent;
  • Must have completed a residency in Urology;
  • Must have a valid PA medical license.
