UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform groundskeeping work and tasks as directed with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit a basic knowledge of landscaping equipment (gator/lawnmowers/hedge cutters)
  • Grass-cutting and maintaining the grounds on our facility decorating outdoors/flower planting/weed control
  • The groundskeeping  staff will be working outdoors in all inclement weather
  • Perform all work following infection control procedures.
  • Record personal work orders and submit hours to supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Maintain clean and safe work area, equipment rooms and shop areas.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Snow removal/shovel/pick up our townhome trash/ maintain the facility grounds/ cut grass and pull weeds

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of a trade school program is preferred.
  • One year of general maintenance-related work experience is preferred.
