Description
CADD Outpatient is a multidisciplinary outpatient program that serves over 1200 children and adolescents with autism and related disorders. The hire for this role will join a team of five child psychologists, 3 nurses, 3 masters-level clinicians, and 4 doctoral-level psychologists. In addition to providing diagnostic and treatment services, this department serves as a training site for future clinicians and physicians as well as a site for conducting a wide range of research activities.
This is a Monday through Friday daylight position. The dress code is business casual. Parking is available near the site.
Responsibilities:
- Screens for the presence of safety and priority issues and takes appropriate action when identified.
- Practice in a way that recognizes and respects diverse populations.
- Maintains regular supervisory time with a licensed psychologist.
- Diagnostic Evaluation and Treatment:Provides diagnostic developmental and behavioral assessment of patients with a variety of developmental, behavioral and mental health concerns. Conducts focused interviews to elucidate the nature of the presenting problem as well as relevant developmental, psychological, behavioral and social contributions to the problem.Provides behavioral health services, using empirically validated treatments and interventions.Provides behavioral health services in using an acute and maintenance model. Schedules sufficient volume of patients so that direct service productivity standards are maintained within the department.
- Under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist, job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, providing:Psychological Testing:Provides input concerning appropriate tests and evaluation tools utilized by the division. Administers, scores, and interprets appropriate standardized tests and behavior rating scales. Prepares comprehensive, clearly written analysis/reports. Cooperates in research projects as compatible with clinical schedule and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology or related field and actively enrolled in a program to obtain an advanced degree in Psychology.
- 1 year experience in psychology or related field.
- Excellent clinical interviewing and assessment/therapy skills to work with patients and families. Strong interpersonal skills.
- Actively working towards PA Psychologist License.

- Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
