As the Accounting Analyst, Associate, you will assist with accounting and analytical activities associated with maintaining general ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts and projections.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in information gathering for various required management reports.
  • Create accounting analytics for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts. Propose correcting entries.
  • Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
  • Assist in administrative tasks or special projects as needed.
  • Prepare and post basic monthly journal entries.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related business field required.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED and two years of related work experience.
  • Microsoft Office spreadsheet application and PeopleSoft General Ledger proficiency preferred.
