Description

UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator in its Marketing Communications department, located in downtown Pittsburgh at the U.S. Steel Tower. The Marketing Coordinator assesses, plans, and executes projects that support sales/retention goals and enhance member experience and satisfaction for UPMC Health Plan WorkPartners.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns and activities that could include employer or member acquisition, broker, provider, member welcome, member engagement & education, member retention, employer engagement, etc. The Coordinator will customize, as needed, all member, broker, provider, or employer communication campaigns. They will support the account engagement needs throughout the life cycle of the relationship, support the marketing with meeting materials, PowerPoint slides, report layouts, copies, printer coordination, and document production. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with the marketing team to ensure materials are prepared in consideration of consistency in brand, messaging, and client customization. The Marketing Coordinator will develop a tactical plan for all initiatives to ensure that timelines, deadlines, regulatory approvals, and milestones are understood and met.

Responsibilities:

  • Support meeting and document preparation, production, and delivery.
  • Build and manage the strategic plan and deliverables.
  • Coordinate resources and development activities to meet project objectives both on time and on budget.
  • Ensure coordination and clear communication among constituents on all activities.
  • Identify and detail appropriate activities that drive sales and support retention.
  • Assist with the creation and execution of campaigns as identified by management that acquire, convent, engage, educate, drive demand, and support revenue and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business development, or sales support required.
  • Minimum 1- 3 years experience in sales, marketing or account management preferred.
  • Healthcare and/or insurance experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Good computer skills.
