The Project Analyst will support UPMC Supply Chain Management by assisting with project management, product and equipment acquisition analyses, supplier contract review, purchase requisition preparation, coordination and monitoring, as well as other activities. This role may work closely with Project Managers and customers to ensure that assigned objectives are satisfied. At times, travel may exceed 50%. This full-time position typically works Monday-Friday during daylight hours, but may occasionally include additional days and hours as needed to support assigned work. This role will be expected to have a combination of onsite work as well as work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Develops proficiencies in data collection through various reporting tools and accurately compiles and organizes data to support assigned tasks. Maintains a working knowledge of technologies used to support processes for data collection and analysis.Provides analyses that are relevant to Project Managers, customers and others to support decision making.
- Develops and demonstrates a working knowledge of industry standard project management tools, methods, and other project management functions.Meets objectives and timelines established by Project ManagersActively participates in implementing business processes and technologies to support UPMC's Supply Chain objectives.
- *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.*Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain is strongly preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in another field will be considered with Supply Chain experience or a Supply Chain internship.
- Supply Chain experience as a Buyer, Contract Specialist, Procure to Pay Analyst, Project Specialist, QA Analyst or Data Specialist, is preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Project Management Certification is preferred.
