The Supplier Diversity Analyst will provide systems support for all UPMC users and vendors of the Supplier Diversity web portal applications. They participate in system maintenance, support, development, enhancements, upgrade activities, and training. They also facilitate supplier diversity program education, training, and marketing strategies for end-users across multiple levels within the healthcare delivery system.

Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with Sourcing, vendors, department heads, and other internal customers to ensure the web portal is delivering value for the business. Conduct advanced searches and analyze data to identify content and keyword ideas according to determining strategies.
- Provide recommendations on existing processes to provide advantages to entry for Diverse businesses to interface with UPMC. Drive projects focused on business needs, including customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and productivity. Coordinate marketing materials including, but not limited to Supplier Diversity website, brochure, and social media.
- Recommend operational processing and systems improvements/enhancements to the web portal. Execute item-related data processes and procedures necessary for adding, deleting, and modifying items within the web portal.
- Develop and document procedures for use in training and retraining opportunities specific to Supplier Diversity and web portal. Understand, embrace, and participate in major business objectives, company vision, and core values. Assist manager with analysis of process improvement initiatives related to Diverse business processes and procedures.
- Manage the Supplier Diversity e-mailbox in a timely manner to process requests. Assists in ad hoc reporting and analysis to include the second-tier reporting process. Champion organization-wide knowledge sharing and training for the web portal.
- Deliver and maintain content management solutions for the web portal. Perform web portal changes and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Science and 2 years of experience OR 5 years Supplier Diversity, Supply Chain Management experience.
- Proficient functional understanding of Financial or Supply Chain Management applications and business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Well-developed analytical skills and an ability to comprehend and manipulate large data sets in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Possess problem-solving and decision-making skills to follow issues through resolution.
- Work well in a team environment with minimal direct supervision and a good understanding of project management.
