Description
Womens Health Service Line Project Management and Analytics team is committed to innovation in virtual care, population health, and patient engagement, and this role will play a key role in the initiatives we are working on to further our work in these domains.
Duties for this position include but are not limited to, managing regular and new report requests, developing and maintaining reporting dashboards and assisting with project management.
Purpose:
Under the general direction of the collaborating Project Manager for each assigned project, the Project Analyst will provide support and accountability for project management efforts across the organization. This position will be responsible for monitoring, documenting and reporting progress and performance for defined project objectives and measures as well as for assisting in the development and maintenance of detailed project plans.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with members of UPMC management and staff regarding assigned projects
- Assist in the development of business cases, work plans, communications, etc.
- Maintain project documents within approved archival systems.
- Generate necessary project documentation, including meeting minutes, project deliverables, etc.
- Handle project administrative duties including scheduling requirements, SharePoint requirements, etc.
- Advise supervising Project Manager and others of pending due dates.
- Identify and help resolve potential issues and/or barriers which are critical to the success of a project.
Qualifications
- B.A. degree and 2 years experience (preferred)
- Experience in health care insurance or health care industry preferred
- Excellent computer skills required, including MS Office Suite
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written) are required
- Very well organized and deadline conscious.
- Project Management knowledge and future potential to manage multiple projects required.
