Our UPMC Talent Acquisition team is growing and we are looking for a talented recruiter to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The Senior Recruiter will perform comprehensive employment-related consultation, recruitment, selection, and related responsibilities to the employment process. These services include coordination of all aspects of the hiring process for departments as well as problem-solving assistance related to the employment process. Assist managers to improve the quality of the organizational and operational practices through the development and implementation of recruitment and hiring strategies, which meet the ongoing and changing needs of UPMC, while supporting our commitment to achieve a culturally diverse workforce.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of all information received within the guidelines of professional recruitment in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), providing the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities.
- Comply, analyze and prepare reports on the computer and works on special projects as requested.
- Advise on and coordinate targeted recruitment events.
- Function as an internal search firm recruiter by performing specific recruitment searches as necessary.
- Develop and initiate the most effective and innovative recruitment sources and initiatives for attracting and retaining the best-qualified candidates.
- Review and evaluate candidate applications and/or resume in terms of related experience, education and skill rejecting those not meeting the minimum qualifications on the approved job description.
- Identify high need and difficult to fill positions
- Administer Recruitment contingent and retained vendor process.
- Meet with and assess the needs for these areas on a consistent basis.
- Strategize with operational, clinical and HR about sources and strategies to attract applicants for high need areas.
- Identify and analyze turnover trends.
- Develop the appropriate relationships with schools, members of professional organizations and community members that could be referral sources.
- Network with the existing professionals in these areas to find additional applicants.
- Proactively build and create candidate pipelines; track individuals with these skill sets to network for future opportunities.
- Assist with training for interview skills, sourcing and tracking candidates when needed.
- Research new and creative cost-effective candidate sources for niche areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required and three years of recruitment experience required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of recruitment experience required.
- Knowledge of the health care field is preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking or HRIS systems required.
- Experience designing and implementing models to find applicants for hard-to-fill positions.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
