UPMC Central PA is currently seeking an Associate Program Director to help initiate and grow our new Addiction Fellowship program located in Harrisburg, PA.
About the position:
• Supports successful training of fellows in our new Addiction Fellowship program
• Assists with recruiting of highly qualified fellows
• Collaborates with Addiction Medicine program director on operations
• Assists in hiring additional faculty to support the Addiction Medicine Fellowship program
• Ensures individual faculty members meet or exceed ongoing requirements such as scholarly activity
• Ensures the quality of patient care provided by fellows and faculty
• Serves as a clinical and professional role model
• Participates in external academic and educational programs to improve the program
• Represents the program at internal and external meetings
• Attends GMEC and appropriate sub-committee meetings
• Monitors work environment for fellow well being
• Ensures program meets all regulatory requirements at all times

Qualifications
• Board Certification in EM, IM or Palliative Medicine
• Must be Addiction Boarded
• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients
• Team oriented with ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomes
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
