Description
Purpose:
The Marketing Coordinator provides administrative assistance to the marketing department, including such activities as mailing informational brochures, coordinating marketing events and communicating with clients by telephone.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to telephone inquiries by mailing information and answering clients questions.
- Keep an accurate wait list and distribute to the Marketing Consultant.
- Maintain confidentiality of medical and financial information provided by clients.
- Send printed material and monthly mailings to clients on wait list.
- Coordinate with the design of printed materials.
- Coordinate and schedule weekend coverage.
- Spot check vacant patio homes as needed.
- Coordinate housewarming parties, informational seminars held on and off campus, resident referral parties, moving seminars and other special events.
- Order and maintain supplies and stock in the marketing office.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Consultant in collecting application materials.
- Attend weekly inventory meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- 1 year of experience in an office setting; previous sales experience preferred.
- Learn and use REPS computer program.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word to design materials and generate merge documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors both on the telephone and in person.
- Demonstrate being organized and helpful to co-workers and clients.
- Frequent repetitive hand movements required.
- Full body range of motion required.
- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination required.
- Vision and hearing corrected to normal range is required.
- Lifting is not to exceed 20 pounds required.
- Subject to moderate emotional stress due to the normal office environment.
- Walking between Community Center and Marketing Office one or more times each day is required.
- Ability to be in a working environment that is heated and air conditioned office.
