Description

UPMC Cole is seeking a per diem Courier to join our team!  This position will be Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays, and the hours are 9am - 5:30pm.  Customer service and prior experience driving a delivery vehicle preferred.


The Courier will sort and distribute interoffice mail, x-rays, and packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly answer all pages and take appropriate action to take care of urgent deliveries.
  • Organize mail for delivery to various drop off/pick up sites around the UPMC .
  • Sort all interoffice and incoming US mail as required.
  • Complete compliance training as well as hospital and department fire/safety and infection control training and maintain current knowledge of safety procedures within the hospital and department.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Follow the schedule set by the Office Manager and Administrator of Operations.
  • Pick up and distribute clean lab coats on assigned days.

 

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Current and valid driver's license required.
