UPMC is hiring a full-time Billing Analyst, Rev Cycle to work Daylight hours Monday - Friday, with no weekends or holidays required!
Location: 50 Fitness Drive, Muncy PA

Purpose:
Is a resource for the billing office staff in areas including but not limited to: billing, quality, project support, analytics, and payer guidelines. Identify recurring problems and procedural deficiencies and provide solutions to eliminate them. Interact with the management team and provide suggestions for process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Use root cause analysis of processes resulting in failure to achieve departmental and individual goals. Identify problems, define alternatives and recommend practical and efficient solutions.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Maintain departmental productivity levels and compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Cycle processes for areas of responsibility.
- Identify areas of utilization improvements and monitor expected outcomes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, OR B.S. degree in related field; Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
Some prior experience working in business administration, financial accounting preferred. (Health Care Finance preferred). Strong PC and computer skills are required. (Excel, Access and Crystal report writing). Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Supervision of staff in a business situation, or progressive financial accounting including electronic transfers of funds, or experience involving retail receipts/ the act of transferring data to a corporate database via electronic means. (including inventory control management.) Good oral and written communication skills also required.

- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
