We're searching for a talented Recruiter to join our team. This position works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, and has very flexible work arrangements!
In this role, the Recruiter performs comprehensive employment related consultation, recruitment, selection, and related responsibilities to the employment process. Daily recruitment responsibilities may include posting job opportunities, reviewing applications, preparing salary recommendations, extending offers of employment, and much more!

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary employment consultant for designated departments.
- Realistically describe to applicants the responsibilities of any appropriate position
- Choose the most qualified candidates to refer to departments based upon documented objective criteria consistent with the legal requirements, job description, qualifications, and business unit policies in a timely manner.
- Facilitate job posting system. Confirm job requirements on recruitment request form with those on the approved job description to assure correct requirements are posted.
- Conduct employment screening interviews for internal and external applicants, of all levels and types of positions, including management.
- Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least one year of recruitment experience required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of recruitment experience required.
- Proficiency with recruitment related software and database mining required.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification preferred.
