UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

Our UPMC Corporate HR Department is searching for a Recruiter to join the team and help recruit clinical professionals.  This opportunity is a full-time position that works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, and offers flexible work arrangements!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake meetings to confirm job requirements and hiring manager preferences.
  • Confidently review, screen, and evaluate candidate applications and/or resume in terms of related experience, education and skill rejecting those not meeting the minimum qualifications on the approved job description.
  • Choose the most qualified candidates to refer to departments.
  • Proactively source for candidates by using internal database and/or candidate sourcing tools.
  • Prepare salary recommendations for department review and extend offers of employment.
  • Represent UPMC at external and internal functions (i.e., job fairs, UPMC sponsored events, etc.), provide the public with information about UPMC and career opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least one year of recruitment experience required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of recruitment experience required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • PHR, SPHR certification, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP certification or UPMC HCI Strategic HR Business Partner Certification preferred.
