UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

Purpose:
Provides a comprehensive range of recruitment and admissions services to prospective students to include pre-admission testing, records management, prospective student counseling and application processing. Coordinates workflow and administrative support to the Director and school of nursing.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manages activities for internal and external recruitment of candidates to ensure enrollment targets are met. Coordinates, reports, networks, and works with Director to strategize effective recruitment efforts.
  • Confirms, organizes, and maintains data base for preadmission testing and applications.
  • Provides operational and administrative support to Director and school of nursing. Organizes employee workflow, plans conferences and meetings, develops executive correspondence, and reports, and offers recommendations for administrative procedures and operations.

Qualifications

Master's preferred, Bachelor's degree required in communication, marketing or business and five years of recent work experience in administration or recruitment. Computer literacy and ability to perform advanced functions in database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software. Advanced knowledge of business processes and procedures with ability to analyze data and provide independent input. Working knowledge of accounting and financial principles and functions.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
  • OAPSA
