Job Description/Summary/Objectives: University of Pittsburgh Physicians seeks an Interventional Radiologist to perform a mixture of Interventional Radiology and General Radiology procedures; Interventional Radiology expectations include performance of non-neuroradiology arteriographic and venographic procedures, solid organ and soft tissue biopsies, CT and US-guided drainage procedures (inducing abscess drainage, paracentesis, and thoracentesis), and central venous access, PICC, and port placement; General Radiology expectations include fluoroscopy, basic body and neuro CT, neuro MRI, and basic nuclear medicine; will also participate in community Interventional Radiology call responsibilities.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Perform a mixture of Interventional Radiology and General Radiology procedures;

Qualifications

  • Must have a Medical degree or equivalent;
  • Must have completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology;
  • Must have completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology or Neuroradiology;
  • Must be Board certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent;
  • Must have a valid PA medical license.
