Description
Purpose:
This entry level position provides basic data entry and/or clerical support. For this entry-level position, we seek a highly motivated student with an outgoing personality to engage patients in meaningful conversation to explain the features and assist in installing the UPMC Central Pa. Portal mobile application.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will interact with other employees and provide assistance for routine tasks
- Perform routine tasks under the guidance of the department manager/supervisor.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program, equivalent, or higher, required.
- The candidate will have a working knowledge of the Microsoft system, iOS, and Android operating systems.
- Candidate should have an interest in Telehealth, nursing, information technology fields of study.
- The successful candidate must be able to work within a team environment with indirect supervision.
- Comfortable working on their own, approaching and starting conversations with patients and staff
- The candidate must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
- The candidate must be able to perform routine tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
- Independent and self-motivated
- The second language would be a plus
- This is an in-person position
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Clearances must be within 5 years of hire.
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
