We are searching for a Business Intelligence Analyst - Associate to join our HRIS Department! This position works daylight hours, Monday through Friday and offers flexible work arrangements! You are able to work fully remote or on-site at the US Steel Tower if that is best for you.
The Business Intelligence Analyst - Associate plays a critical role in decision support across Human Resources and UPMC by researching and analyzing issues and identifying areas of focus for the organization. They heavily focus on reporting and creating business solutions for the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development and management of basic reporting
- Compile and QA data utilized for scheduled and ad hoc reporting
- Develop basic understanding of data contained within multiple systems and application modules.
- Work with end users to translate business requirements into technical requirements for basic new custom reports
- Provide insight for process improvements across functional areas
- Act as a liaison with co-workers on technical and data specialist teams to address issues
- Develop and execute testing plans prior to the release of new reports.
- Perform annual review of reports and dashboards for relevancy and enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting or a related field required and one year of experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, OTBI, BI Publisher, Cloud Analytics and complex data analysis required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, OTBI, BI Publisher, Cloud Analytics and complex data analysis required.
- Basic computer and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) skills required.
- Basic knowledge of SQL required.
