UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

This position is alternating weekends only.

Purpose:
Provides day-to-day oversight to Bailey House & Bailey House Annex located at 119 & 121 Washington Streets, Harrisburg, PA. Monitors activities and supports guests. Reports back to Auxiliary Chair and Auxiliary Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be available for families - to comfort, listen or talk to. Answers questions about the facility such as use of washer and dryer, telephone, use of kitchen.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the PinnacleHealth Auxiliary or deemed necessary
  • Maintains guest book and yearly scrap book.
  • Computer knowledge with maintaining data base and spreadsheets.
  • Maintains continental breakfast inventory for guests use. Coffee, tea, breakfast bars, etc
  • Manages daily house cleaning and bed turn over.
  • Monitors activities of families staying at Bailey House and provides support when necessary.
  • Provides a welcome to all Bailey House guests and orientation to the houses. Reviews Bailey House agreement with all guests.
  • Schedules reservations for out of town guests.
  • Supervises the day to day operation of both Bailey Houses.

 

Qualifications

  • Basic Microsoft office applications.
  • High School graduate.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the geographic area helpful (for giving direction, etc.)


Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
