The Payroll Analyst, Associate is a full-time position that works daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility! This position may be fully remote or spend time on-site if that is what you prefer!
The Payroll Analyst, Associate is responsible for performing analysis, consultation, auditing and other specialized work involved in the administration payroll/tax related practices and procedures. They serve as a consultant to internal and external customers on payroll-related issues.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various maintenance and operational transactions of confidential payroll information
- Participate in systems upgrade and/or additional applications by performing assigned project tasks and assisting in the planning, development, testing, and conversion activities
- Assist in the biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll, tax, and compliance activities
- Run queries and reports to generate data used for payroll planning, auditing, filing and reporting purposes using PeopleSoft, Kronos, and Excel
- Responsible for maintaining a thorough understanding of all payroll systems and keep abreast of all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices
- Identify and resolve payroll issues related to PeopleSoft and KRONOS and advise management of problems as they arise. Applies systems knowledge and functionality when researching and correcting systems related issues.
- Serve as the Payroll department resource for all payroll operations, tax, and compliance activities needed to support various functional Business Partners (HR, Finance, Corporate Tax, Operations).
- Performs routine audits and analysis to ensure payroll accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with established controls
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field required and two years of experience required.
- OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of professional-level payroll experience required.
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional Certification (CPP) preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll systems, applicable laws and taxes/accounting principles preferred.
- Master Tax knowledge is preferred.
