The Digital Product Data & Analytics Manager is responsible for reporting and analytic solutions that have a strategic impact on the digital product suite. The person in this role will manage a small team of experts focused on our digital product ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team that develops reporting and analytic solutions for our digital experiences.
- Collaborate with digital product and development teams to ensure analytics implementations are optimized and accurate
- Communicate analytic results to business partners thru static or dynamic reports, visualization, and written correspondence.
- Work with cross-division and cross-company teams to manage analytics priorities in accordance with business outcomes
- Implement and support implementations of relevant technology processes and programs
- Provides leadership for analytic efforts, including complex studies, simulations, testing, etc. to solve unique problems or questions identified by executive management and various business unit partners.
- Lead the development of data delivery processes to enable self-service analytics where possible
- Provide fact-based, compelling insights and recommendations to drive consensus and strategic alignment
- Proactively focus on the discovery of insights hidden in vast, disparate amounts of data to help make smarter decisions
- Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
- Develop business cases and work through organizational processes to achieve data and digital analytics initiatives
- Represent Strategic Innovation data and analytics needs through relevant committees and with appropriate stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, statistics, design, marketing or related quantitative discipline required
- Master's Degree in business, economics, statistics, design, marketing or related quantitative discipline preferred
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Microsoft Office skills required (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project)
- Working knowledge and application of an analytical toolkit (i.e. Tableau, Excel, Word, R, PowerPoint, modeling/liner regression and relevant data blending)
- Experience web analytics tools and principles
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tablea
- Previous Management experience highly preferred.
