UPMC complies with all governmental requirements related to local, state, and federal COVID-19 vaccination for employment. The Jan. 13 Supreme Court of the United States decision that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate will move forward requires UPMC to ensure employees either get vaccinated or receive a requested medical or religious exemption.

Description

Purpose:

This position is established to provide support resources for accomplishment of the responsibilities and mission to the inventory function that are assigned to the Records Retention Department. This is a temporary position through Summer 2016.

Responsibilities:

  • Other duties as assigned
  • Performs other duties as appropriate to position and as required or assigned by the department director
  • Will assure that activities necessary for the timely and accurate pulling of departmental issues is maintained.
  • Will establish and maintain a good professional rapport with the employees and staff of the hospital and subsidiary departments serviced.
  • Will bring to the attention of the Records Management Clerk any current or potential problems with records currently being reviewed.
  • Responsible for the safe and orderly storage of the records management files
  • Review off site record storage files to identify pediatric or other records that must be maintained per the defined guidelines. Training and ?Quick Review List? will be provided.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand the written English language.
  • Ability to speak fluently in the English language.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Clearances must be dated within 90 days.

  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
