UPMC Cranberry Place is now hiring a Driver! This is a limited part-time position with variable hours and shifts. This position offers flexible hours and a sense fulfillment from working with our residents.
Purpose:
Provide transportation, by way of the facility van, to all residents for appointments, shopping, scheduled activity functions, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain CDL, if appropriate, in good standing and notify facility management of any violations.
- Provide transportation, by way of the facility van, to all residents for appointments, shopping, scheduled activity functions, etc.
- Participate in the coordination of scheduling trips with appropriate personnel.
- Assist residents when necessary on entering and exiting the van.
- Require to be polite and courteous to all residents while driving.
- Wash and fuel van as needed.
- Inspect van on a daily basis prior to using for damages and or maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) OR Driver's License
- Act 34
- OAPSA
