Parking Hospitality Attendant
Fulltime Day/Evening shift - 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. - Monday-Friday

Union Minimum hourly rate is $12.66.
Purpose:
Controls traffic in hospital parking areas, safely parks vehicles within the hospital parking lot, provides traffic flow, collects parking fees, and remains alert for safety hazards. Greets visitors/patients with a smile and welcomes to facility. Directs individuals to lobby and offers resources for questions/concerns. Works closely with greeter coordinator to assist with personal escorts.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the mandatory reporting procedures for any incident or serious event that did affect or potentially could have affected the clinical care of any patient.
- Provide traffic control in driveways and parking areas.
- Regularly surveys lot for safety and security hazards and reports problems to supervisor on assigned shift.
- Ensure operation of ticket machine and provide directions or other information. Ensure proper use of reserved spaces.
- Prepare assigned parking lot for use and operates lot and equipment. Compute and collect parking fees. Ring fees on cash register and totals register at end of shift. Count receipts and completes Shift Balance Form.
- Ensure all vehicles are locked and windows are closed. Give keys to the Parking Attendant handling the keys.
- Drive all vehicles with caution and safety.
- Document all necessary information on ticket and stub and places valet ticket hang tag on rearview mirror of vehicle. Attach key tag to keys.
- Open vehicle door and greets visitors/patients. Give part of ticket to visitor/patient and parks vehicle. Assist with wayfinding and concierge services.
Qualifications
Educational and Knowledge Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
A driving record clear of any significant accidents or traffic citations is required.
Ability to operate all types of passenger vehicles (standard or automatic) is required.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions is required.
Valid Pennsylvania's driver's license is required. This will be reviewed at least annually.
