As the Finance Systems Support Analyst, you will provide financial systems support for all UPMC users of Financial applications. Participate in the system maintenance, support, development, enhancements, upgrade activities, and hospital integrations. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an expert level of functional knowledge of the applications.

Collaborate with others on the development of training programs for various applications. Participate in and/or conduct training programs as required

Resolve and document application support issues.

Participate in hospital integrations from a system and operational perspective, which may include the establishment of work plans, policies and procedures.

Translate business requirements to system functional requirements.Assist senior team members with complex system-wide projects.Build strong relationships with both internal and external customers.

Participate in the upgrade activities of the financial systems to ensure systems are on current releases.

Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of system and operational procedures related to the business functions carried out by the financial systems.

Provide systems support for the UPMC users of Financial Management applications.

Participate, or lead when required, in the implementation of new applications by performing assigned project tasks and assisting in the planning, development, testing, and conversion activities.

Research new system functionality.

Coordinate with operational areas to align business processes with system functionality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Science, or related field required.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of financial information systems experience required, three years preferred.
- Proficient functional understanding of Financial applications and business processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Individual must possess problem solving and decision-making skills to follow issues through resolution.
- Participate in system upgrade, integrations, and implementation activities.
- Work well in a team environment with minimal direct supervision and a good understanding of project management.
