Description

UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside seeks an HRIS Cloud Developer, Senior to assist in the creation, development and refinement of UPMC Human Resource Information Systems’ (HRIS) specific applications, specifically within the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system.  Provide system and procedural expertise in multiple key Oracle HCM Cloud tools including fast formulas, sandbox personalization, security administration, OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, and approval workflow.  Review HR system release notes to identify opportunities and impacts.  Recommend solutions or alternate methods for improvement that align with business needs and strategic goals.  Drive system improvement and maintenance.  Coordinate efforts across internal and external teams.  Lead advanced development and build of the HR systems.  Ensure thorough execution and documentation of key activities, including design, testing, and cutover.  Engage with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for business process improvement through requirements gathering and exploration of pain points.  Provide production support.  Research and resolve HR system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws.  Escalate and communicate issues through appropriate channels.  Mentor others on the HRIS team.  Participate regularly in professional activities and user forums to keep abreast of new developments in Human Resources and HRIS.  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Four (4) years of software development, application development, or related experience:
    • developing interfaces to support Oracle HCM Cloud implementations and integrations;
    • assisting in all areas of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
    • developing fast formulas;
    • defining testing scenarios and developing test scripts;
    • writing business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions; and
    • developing interfaces and reports using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and HCM Extracts.
