Description

Purpose:

The Patient Portal Marketing & Technology Associate will provide support for educating and providing technical support to patients in our patient portal for access to their online medical records. Promote and sell the benefits of the portals with enthusiasm and learn the technology to be able to get a patient set up and begin using the portal. Handles support and follow up questions and calls for our hospital and outpatient patient portals.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, review, resolve and respond to email and voice mail questions regarding the patient portalWorks closely with clinical staff to assist in telehealth needs.
  • Assists with reporting and metrics associated with video visit metrics and dataAssists with support and follow up questions from users
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date on telehealth regulations and communication when changes need to be made
  • Perform duties with professionalism, exhibit outstanding customer service, and operate with sensitivity to the diverse landscape of healthcare at all times
  • Available for patient, clinical staff and provider calls related to the patient portal
  • Knowledge and understanding of videoconferencing equipment, processes and protocols

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent, 2 years customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with modern technology and best support practices through education or practical experience.
  • Competent in MS Office/PC skills.
  • Must be able to make appropriate decisions based on the circumstances as well as established protocols.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, written and communication skills and be able to remain professional and courteous when dealing with sensitive issues and stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Clearances must be dated within 90 days.

  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
